Create Your Superhero and Then Become One

When you create your superhero by yourself you can stop watching and start doing.

Marvel superhero movies are constantly smashing records at box office it seems.

Characters that were created over 50 years ago are still caught in our imagination as we line up to see what adventures they get up to next.

We have a certain connection with these characters.

Humans have a clear affection for a character they can relate to who breaks from their shackles and rises up.

Time and time again the same story line occurs but we never tire of it, why? Because it’s true.

Let’s watch this video to give us a better insight:

Using the points from the video I will elaborate on how you can bring the hero story to your own life. This will culminate in the ability to create your superhero:

Status Quo – We all were not blessed with top-tier genetics or super high IQs.

Few of us were born into rich families or super supportive ones either.

Having any one of these advantages is helpful but there have been many who came before us with nothing ‘spectacular’ about themselves to begin with either.

1 Call to adventure – You slowly begin to realise that how most people spend their lives is depressing.

This leads you to question the way of the world and to seek out new information.

Books become your new best friend and seeing the average persons physique is depressing.

The quest to try and create your superhero begins here.

2 Assistance – As you start to evolve you meet exciting and like minded individuals.

New ideas and experiences are shared.

A mentor may come into your life who can guide you on your journey to becoming who you were meant to be.

They keep you on track and help you avoid the mistakes they did.

3 Departure – A time may come when you decide that you need to leave your current situation to live the life you want.

Oppression comes in many forms and when you reach adulthood the ability to make important decisions about your life is granted.

Departure could be as a result of starting a new career or to inspire oneself.

I went on an adventure recently.

4 Trials – Nothing good ever comes easy.

Did you think it would be a walk in the park?

Every time we fail it is another opportunity to learn and refine ourselves.

If you have committed yourself to the journey then each failure means that you are one step closer to your success.

Continue growing and do not be dismayed by setbacks.

5 Approach – The trials we have undergone so far have prepared us for the biggest mountain that we need to climb, whatever that may be.

By now you should be sure of who you are and what you stand for.

There may come a time where you have to face up to something or someone to conquer your worst fear.

If you are waiting for the perfect opportunity then you may be waiting a long time.

Begin to act and do not hesitate.

6 Crisis – Life is full of tragedy and there will be more to come no doubt.

There is no telling when a crisis will hit.

It could happen when you are at the peak of your powers.

Family circumstances can hit us hard and stop us right in our tracks.

The important thing to remember is to brave the storm.

7 Treasure – When the dust has settled you will come out of whatever crisis you faced with a new appreciation for life and all that you have.

Those who have stuck by you will remain true friends.

This can leave you more determined than ever.

Continuing on is a must.

8 Result – Enemies  will be made if you do anything great.

After all that has happened you will be walking taller than ever before.

Things that annoyed you in the past will no longer cause a negative reaction.

The ability to focus on what truly matters is granted to you.

This leads to many rewards and accomplishments along the way.

9 Return – Some day we may return to our previous life.

When we do this it becomes obvious why we left in the first place.

The people we knew back then haven’t changed that much.

No growth has taken place.

It is at this point we realise why we had to do what we did.

10 New life – When you look back it is hard to believe how far you have came.

It hasn’t been easy but it was worth it to do the right thing an lead the life you want.

Instead of just being mentored you now mentor others who are beginning their journey towards enlightenment.

Fond memories start flooding back of the struggles you faced when you were at their stage.

11 Resolution – Questions that previously seemed out of reach now make total sense.

Every step that you took to get here can now be connected as you look back.

While doing so you become present in the moment and enjoy what you have made for yourself.

The future looks bright.

12 Status Quo – Being surrounded by others who have followed similar paths to the one you did makes the destination that much better.

The status quo is not the one you left when you began your journey.

Having more people in your tribe allows everyone to benefit from each individuals talents and skills.

Sharing with others who respect you and what you represent makes life enhanced.

As you create your superhero in the image of yourself you become one in the process.

Anyone who has achieved greatness and conquered their fears was once considered a “nobody”.

People hate to consider this fact.

They hate it because it means that they have the potential to do something great as well.

For many, this realisation is a tough pill to swallow.

It is much easier in the here and now to continue watching superheros on screen to the detriment of your own self.

Why you need to take control of your life and step out of your comfort zone.

Hiding from your responsibilities only makes them bite back 10x harder when they come around again.

A problem will fester when you don’t resolve it when you have the chance.

This goes for your body and health too.

When you don’t attend to injuries or weight gain things can get worse.

The pain will worsen and the pounds will pile on.

This observation applies to other facets of media like video games which are an even more immersive interaction.

There is nothing wrong with watching your favourite superheros or playing as your favourite character either.

Sure it is hard to kill vampires in real life but reality has many challenges which need conquered.

It also has many beasts which need to be slayed.

Negativity is one of those beasts.

Here is another clip of Jordan Peterson explaining how we created heroes:

After watching that you should want to create your superhero in yourself.

This doesn’t just mean that you should pretend in your head that you are one.

This means that you need to start acting like one.

Superheroes are demi-gods who rise above the common man and attain glory.

Heroes need to be sculpting themselves in the gym to attain that super human strength.

Heroes try to do the right thing even if it is unpopular and will lose them friends.

People need someone to look up to.

This allows them to aspire to become something more.

Why don’t you be that person?

Make the decision to create your superhero today. Become someone you can be proud of. Leave a mark for others to follow.

Thanks for reading,

Stay tuned.

    That was something different Peter.
When we are on the struggle we have to remember our heroes.
I always think about what would Arnold do.

Arni just yolo ran out of his military camp to participate in a bodybuilding competition when he was young. He gave his superiors credit for that (as any smart networker would do) and they gave him extra steaks and put barbells in his tank.

He also just went to America, won mr.olympia, became the terminator and the governer of california.

Gotta grab my balls, think of arni, get a boner and my testosterone will spike because of that giving me more power to struggle on.

Thanks for the excellent comment Philip. Yes Arnold is a great example of a real life superhero who seems can do almost anything.

He really did understand the power of networking and being friends with others. Whatever he wanted he conquered it.

      LOL at the last paragraph!

Peterson probably tackled that hero thing but here’s my take on it. Since I went back to my roots i.e. Paganism and studying Germanic traditional culture (before the christian fags pushed their dirty religion onto us) I realized that we used Heroes/Gods as role Models even back then. Odin/Wotan serves as the role model that we should aim for, wise, strong, kind, yet a fucking killing machine that leads the “Wild Hunt” (I might write about that if interested) so this hero worship has always been a part of us until the christians came and replaced it with a god that you had to fear and a fag that got put on a cross and died because he was too kind, pathetic. Great article man and I encourage you and your readers to go back and study our true tradition we had great role models in folklore/mythology. Odin, Zeus, Thor you name it basically all Pagan Gods and they were bad ass.

Thanks for the insightful comment Titus. I would definitely be interested to hear more about old pagan mythology it is fascinating and I’m sure my readers would too. Have you heard of the youtuber Varg? It sounds like you would like him as he talks about similar topics to this one. The wild hunt reminds me of the wild hunt challenge that The Golden One created on youtube.

The more I read about such topics the more I see that these old Gods used to inspire us to ascend to greatness. The mess we are currently in can be seen as a result of turning our backs on this.

Well done Peter. You clearly laid out something that most won’t ever understand.

We all aspire to be something more. Whether that be to be like your father or a super hero.

In my experience once you aspire to be your own hero it is at that point that you will start down your own path.

    • Peter August 3, 2017 at 10:00 am - Reply

      Thank you Dylan.

An ideal to strive for is paramount to conquering the self.

Thank you Dylan. You are exactly right. Whatever it is, we all need something to aspire to be. Whatever that is we need to find it.

Let me know what you think!
